AOVtech provides both standardized and patented product lines, including advanced infrared optics and assemblies. Our AGIR series is among our most recognized patented offerings, designed for precision and performance in demanding applications.

We serve a range of industries where precision optics are critical, including consumer products, medical technologies, and emerging industries developing next generation solutions.

Yes. AOVtech has extensive experience in custom optics and assemblies. We offer processes such as slicing and dicing, waterjet cutting, precision polishing, diamond turning, lens fabrication, and optical coatings to create solutions tailored to unique client requirements.

Not all processes are completed in-house at our Hopkinton facility. However, AOVtech maintains close oversight throughout every stage of production to ensure that all solutions meet our rigorous standards for quality and reliability.

The AGIR series provides enhanced accuracy, consistency, and durability in infrared optics. With detailed data sheets and proven results, the AGIR line has become a trusted choice across multiple industries.

All product data sheets for standardized and patented product lines are available on our Data Sheets page. These documents provide specifications, performance metrics, and application information.

Yes. AOVtech offers a wide range of optical coatings, including antireflective, reflective, beam splitting, polarizing, protective, absorbent, and dielectric coatings. These coatings are customized to improve performance for specific applications.

AOVtech has experience with a wide variety of optical materials, including chalcogenide glasses, fused silica, germanium, silicon, and other infrared-transmitting materials. Our material expertise ensures that components are selected and processed to meet the specific needs of each application.

Through processes such as waterjet cutting, slicing, dicing, and diamond turning, we can produce optics in many shapes including circles, squares, strips, wafers, prisms, rods, wedges, and freeform designs. Sizes range from microlenses to components as large as 300mm in diameter.

Our capabilities include aspherical lenses, spherical lenses, entocentric (fixed focal length) lenses, microlenses, meniscus lenses, and custom-designed geometries. Each is fabricated to exact specifications for its intended application.

Our Quick Turn services allow for delivery of waterjet or core-drilled pucks and SMTY materials within 3–7 days for in-stock materials. Quick Turn options include waterjet pucks ranging from 10 to 300mm in diameter, witness windows, and prepared blanks in various shapes and thicknesses.

Yes. We prepare wafers and substrates in a range of materials and thicknesses to meet the needs of infrared and optical system builders. Precision processing ensures consistency across batches and integration readiness.

Yes. Our capabilities include freeform optics that allow for unique geometries and advanced system designs. These components enable performance improvements not achievable with traditional spherical or aspherical surfaces.

AOVtech maintains oversight of every project through strict quality management. While not all processes are performed in-house, each stage is monitored and validated through testing and measurement to ensure the final product meets exacting standards for performance and reliability.
